Responsible for the operation, barrel temperature zoning, gravimetric feeder calibration, water-bath strand management, and pelletizer control on our high-output LLDPE compounding lines. Requires 3+ years experience with co-rotating twin-screw extruders.
Conduct routine testing on production batches: Melt Flow Index (Dynisco MFI), spectrophotometric color matching (ΔE < 0.5), ash content furnace analysis (ASTM D5630), and blown film bubble inspection. BS in Chemistry/Polymer Science or equivalent experience required.
Drive customer acquisition and manage technical relationships with blown film converters, bag makers, and packaging producers. Partner with Salman Sheikh to deliver custom formulations and support converter trials. Requires 3+ years B2B plastics sales experience.
Maintain and optimize heavy mechanical compounding infrastructure: main extruder gearboxes, electrical heaters, PLC control panels, underwater pelletizers, pneumatic conveying lines, and loss-in-weight feeders. Electrical/mechanical technician credentials required.
